Our client is an online retailer of pet supplies that is looking for a Pet Wrangler to join their Studios Team based in Plantation, FL and Hollywood, FL. The ideal candidate has worked with animals in a professional setting, preferably with animal training experience. The Pet Wrangler position will be part of the Pet Talent team that is dedicated to working with all of the pet talent for both video and photography. This position works with the pet talent, pet parents, and the in-house content creators. A big focus of this position is building the confidence and skills of the pets in the Studio through positive reinforcement training, and observing and acknowledging animal behavior/stress in a fast paced environment.

The Pet Wrangler will be the voice and advocate of the pet talent and will communicate any changes/updates to the on-set team, as well as appropriate leadership. Additionally, you will play a key role in the training and education of the pet team that has a diverse set of experience and skills and are freelance as well as full-time employees. 

This opportunity is ad hoc and there is no guarantee of set hours – you can anticipate to be scheduled for 1-2 shoots (that typically last for 2-3 days) / month – depending on the project. 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $20-25 / hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
