Start Date:

Aquent’s leading retail pharma client is seeking a The Senior Marketing Operations Associate – Behavior Change.  This talent will be the center of all operational and project management workstreams in the NYC-based “Behavior Change Pods” agile marketing organization — this is the Marketing test & learn innovation group. The Senior Marketing Operations Associate will execute marketing operations (including trafficking creatives for approvals, performing quality checks and user acceptance testing, and monitoring and tracking campaign performance) for a portfolio of “Next Best Actions” that help members get healthier, reduce medical cost, improve our Stars ratings, and raise member satisfaction. This is a key role in the client’s Behavior Change Marketing organization. Trigger behavioral changes that reduce healthcare spend while increasing quality of life — this is more than just a marketing job! Come onboard and help us define and build the team. This role can be hybrid in New York City (2 days onsite in Soho) or remote (WFH).

Fundamental Components:
• Manage the “operational backbone” of a ~6 person cross-functional marketing team delivering behavior change campaigns to client members
• Manage trafficking of marketing campaigns within the client’s content approvals ecosystem – support necessary regulatory and compliance reviews by packaging and submitting materials; prepare responses to reviewer feedback; manage version control and troubleshoot any conflicting feedback to ensure timely and compliant delivery of approved campaign assets.
• Lead cross-functional Campaign Team implementation meetings; create timelines and track status toward campaign launch, negotiating blockers as they arise.
• Execute Quality Assurance / User Acceptance Testing for each campaign launch, in partnership with marketing strategist, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect, data science and data engineer team members
• Review and approve highly customized test and final proofs across multiple formats and media, utilizing a variety of campaign materials. Escalate inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or errors to Campaign Team; ensure that revisions have been applied when feedback is provided.
• Coordinate between external partners, internal teams and reviewers on timelines, budgets, and requirements and manage vendor interactions as needed
• Monitor campaigns ongoing performance through various reports and dashboards and identify opportunities as needed
• Synthesize learnings from our “test & learn” marketing experiments on a regular basis
• Support general project management and co-develop key artifacts and processes internally to ensure the Pod is a “well-oiled machine”
• Manage Pod finances and other reporting/dashboards
• STRETCH ROLE: meaningfully support and / or own cross-pod initiatives that optimize department performance

• 2+ years in a marketing operations role in a large corporation (ideally working with some combination of email, SMS, direct mail, IVR/phone, etc.)
• May be appropriate with 2+ years of general “project management” experience (with desire to stretch into a marketing environment), OR 2+ years of general marketing strategy/operations experience, OR 1-2 years of pre-MBA consulting experience
• Some professional experience with PowerPoint (building deliverables / communication materials) and Excel (basic manipulation, pivots, reporting, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail is absolutely critical – in order to ensure “six sigma” levels of error-free campaign delivery
• Ability to pick things up quickly (e.g.: become knowledgeable about new campaigns, understand roles and responsibilities within each team), work autonomously and be comfortable with ambiguity.
• Experience working in an Agile methodology and/or rapid test and learn environment (either directly with marketing campaigns or in a product development environment) is preferred, but not required
• Experience in healthcare industry is preferred, but not required – but a passion for healthcare is necessary!

The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $39.92 to $44.36 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
