What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

We use contact forms on our website so you can contact us easily. We will save your message, email address and email message once it reaches our mail server.


Cookies

We use our job board software analytics to monitor registered users, jobs, applicants, success ratio and anything else that might give us a deeper insight of optimising our platform.

Who we share your data with

We only share your data with employers. We do not share your data with any other third party company. How long we retain your data If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

As per https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/does-my-organisation-need-a-data-protection-officer-dpo/ we do not currently have a DPO as we do not fall into these categories. We do however take any DPO requests seriously and will be assigned a dedicated person.

How we protect your data

Your data is stored and encrypted on our servers, and we stand by all GDPR rules for deletion, anonymising, or reports on the data we have on you as a registered user. We will do the utmost best to protect your privacy and user data. We are in constant vigilance to update our website and security protocols to safeguard your and our data as your trust is the core of our jobsite.

What data breach procedures we have in place

If there is any breach of data, after our security officer is informed and management is informed, we will email you to inform of this breach and let you know what you should do and expect.

What third parties we receive data from

We will receive data from companies that we use for automated logons (social media website) and use this to authenticate to our website, if you choose to allow this.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not profile your data other then using it as a candidate database for employees who signed up for this service.

We are fully compliant with the GDPR ruleset and will comply with any other if there so available. We intend to be fully compliant with any UK or international law.
