This is an onsite role (Seattle or Burbank) with the client based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Pay Range: $40.20/hr – $44.67/hr
Our client is looking for a Business Analyst. The Business Analyst will work with technical and non-technical teams to navigate and support a large organization through a major IT program. This position will primarily focus on conducting data analysis, gathering requirements, documenting, and resolving issues related to the major IT program. Must be onsite 4 days/week (remote on Friday).
Business Analyst Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of transformation enablement initiatives, plans, and roadmaps to support the vision, strategy, and initiatives of a major IT program.
- Manage and facilitate the change network and processes to effectively communicate change across the organization, including Business Units, Executives, Application Owners, and end users.
- Ensure the successful implementation of identity and access management initiatives across various business and IT groups.
- Manage a repository of program-level documentation, including Confluence pages, process flows, tracking sheets, meeting minutes, and presentations, to ensure effective organization and accessibility of project information.
- Participate in change impact sessions as needed, capturing business process and data flows to support the creation of flow documentation.
- Conduct comparisons with existing processes to identify gaps, deviations, or areas requiring further attention and information.
- Drive the execution of activities related to organizational and technology change management, ensuring stakeholder and participant readiness.
- Proactively manage and resolve potential organizational and technology obstacles, providing guidance to mitigate challenges.
- Identify and anticipate organizational challenges and resistance, developing risk mitigation plans accordingly.
- Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with the program team, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Oversee transformation enablement activities to align with project plans and timelines.
- Attend relevant project meetings and scrums, delivering regular updates to the Project Manager and other stakeholders as required.
- Identify, track, analyze, and resolve issues to ensure that change enablement activities align with program and project objectives.
Business Analyst Qualifications:
- 5+ years leadership in business, technical or project leadership experience, preferable working in large scale IT transformation, change enablement/change management programs and projects.
- Showcasing proven success in delivering projects with demonstrable business impact, preferably within the context of a large-scale organizational change.
Business Analyst Required Skills & Abilities:
- IT Transformation Enablement and Change Management
- Demonstrated ability to define and execute a business-readiness approach for global enterprise transformations.
- Applying a change management process and tools (frameworks and tool sets) to create a strategy to help optimize or facilitate a change initiative across a complex organization.
- Driving plans to support the design, development, delivery and management of change solutions, such as comms, training, stakeholder engagement, etc. in partnership with technology, communications, and training/customer success teams.
- Demonstrates experience with and an aptitude to understand Information Technology principles and practices.
- Has successfully led delivery of complex business technology solutions into production that have achieved or surpassed business goals.
- Ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods.
- Skilled at conflict resolution and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes.
- Demonstrated acumen and passion for both business and technology, including the latest digital innovations as they apply to the creation of business value.
- Experienced producing cost estimates for change enablement budget plans.
Business Analyst Project Leadership Acumen:
- Familiarity and acumen with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
- Effectively prioritizes project work and deliverables.
- Familiarity with managing technology projects and/or operations at scale in an Agile methodology.
- Skilled at setting and communicating priorities effectively; able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Experience independently leading the development of high quality, client-ready deliverables that meet project objectives.
Business Analyst Communications and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Strong business acumen with executive stakeholders, people leaders, business, and technical contributors.
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal/written communication capabilities and high-impact presentation skills geared towards technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional ability to communicate technical or complex subject matter in business terms.
- Effective at influencing and inspiring others and moving toward a common vision or goal.
- Working effectively at all levels in an organization, including senior stakeholders.
- Exhibiting active listening skills and empathy to aid the exploration of issues and challenges being articulated by our stakeholders while being able to comprehend what is said to probe for important details.
- Skilled at removing barriers and acting with a sense of urgency and encouraging others.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40.20/hr to $44.67/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
