Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to provide crucial support in planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, with a primary focus on client and prospect-specific offsite events. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our current Events Manager, operating independently on different events while sharing responsibilities on specific aspects. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of handling event logistics, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute client/prospect-specific offsite events across North America, ranging from 30 to 3,000 attendees.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop event strategies and themes that align with business objectives.
- Manage event logistics including venue selection, vendor negotiations, partnership coordination (e.g., sponsorships, speaking engagements), and on-site support.
- Utilize technical tools such as MS Suite, Salesforce, Pardot, HubSpot, and Marketo to streamline event operations and communications.
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, providing updates and post-event reports to evaluate success metrics.
- Ensure all events reflect the company’s brand and messaging, maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
- Support smaller events where necessary, ensuring consistent execution and attention to detail across all event sizes.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in event management, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Proven track record of successfully managing events independently and collaboratively.
- Technical proficiency with event management tools and software (MS Suite, Salesforce, Pardot, HubSpot, Marketo).
- Ability to travel 20-30% of the time, primarily within North America, with occasional flexibility for international travel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with senior executives and external partners.
- Creative problem solver with a strategic mindset, able to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
- This position is remote-friendly with occasional onsite requirements for events.
- Immediate availability preferred, with the first event scheduled in early September followed by several in October.
- Candidates should demonstrate a blend of hands-on execution capabilities (“soup to nuts”) and strategic thinking, contributing actively to the creative process and overall event success.
