Overview

Our client is looking for a Graphic Designer w/ experience supporting print/textile and design projects for Kids & Baby clothing collections.

This is a 6 month, ideally fulltime (but hours may ebb/flow based on product development timeline) assignment, Remote — Seeking PST located candidates.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to deliver elevated and on brand artworks in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires advanced textile design skills, CAD software expertise, and ability to assort artwork into collections and packs and acute attention to detail. They are looking for someone very organized with great communication skills who can manage multiple projects for a wide range of product categories.

In the role day-to-day:

Designing and assorting print and graphics for Kids and Baby clothing collections (working off of creative briefs)

• Creating clean, color separated and in repeat patterns within defined product and material technical restrictions
• Create colorways using define color palette
• Partnering with the Design team to prepare Leadership presentation (sketch filling, linesheet support…)
• Analyzing trends
• Proofing sketches

Qualifications:

•  5+ years minimum experience in Print & Graphic Design
•  BA/BS in Design or equivalent
•  Excellent Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator skills
•  Excellent attention to detail
• Elevated design aesthetic with a deep understanding of color harmony
• Strong illustration skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong understanding on Materials and Printing techniques
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Strong knowledge of Miro a plus
• Retail web experience a plus
