Overview

This design team is looking for an Interaction Designer to focus on CoPilot/AI priorities. This team works on GitHub (GH)Copilot another studio team. This particular studio is an IDE for .Net and C++ developers. Their designers collaborate closely with the a Code design team and the GH Copilot design team. Someone in this role will need to be able to navigate those touch points and also design complex interactions to enable developer workflows.

As a Product Designer, you will:

• Partner with program managers to grasp requirements and user needs.
• Has experience with wireframes, task flows, user jobs, scenarios, and personas in support of interaction designs for software-based experiences. Conceptualizes and delivers artifacts at various levels of fidelity. Ensures that the designs of the products allow the user to complete the desired functions in the best possible manner.
• Prototypes for new products and features.
• Conceptualize, design, and test solutions for product features.
• Iterate designs based on feedback in collaboration with program managers and engineers.
• Apply design thinking to uncover optimal solutions aligning with user needs and business goals.
• Adhere to design system and brand guidelines.

Skills/Requirements:
• 5+ years’ experience in product design
• strong interaction design skills
• Familiar with Figma
• Experience with GitHub Copilot a plus

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $52.63 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
